Smart sales support for heavy-duty print technology
Printing equipment manufacturer Heidelberg is probably the best-known
company in the industry. Our salespeople have quite a lot to keep
track of. So it’s not so strange that we have had a sales support
system in place for quite a time.
From the very beginning, a sales support register was developed
in house. When the time came to acquire the new system, SuperOffice
got the nod and we’ve used it ever since. All sales data is stored
in SuperOffice and it is all used for analysis and planning purposes.
To some extent the important canvassing of existing customers is
entrusted to Heidelbergs DM Center. On the one hand, salespeople
can concentrate on driving through ongoing projects; on the other,
even routine contacts can generate a large number of additional
sales.
